Ever since establishing himself with his films Radio On (1979) and An Unsuitable Job for a Woman (1982), novelist and director Chris Petit has remained one of the most fascinating and forensic voices within British counter-culture. He published his first novel, Robinson, in 1993, influenced by J. G.
